Programs

The City of Sandusky Fire, Police and Recreation Department invite Sandusky area children who are entering kindergarten ONLY this year (ages 5-6 only) to take part in the Wightman-Wieber Safety Town. Children will learn fire safety, stranger danger, 911/emergencies, Road safety, animal safety, water safety, railroad safety, healthy living, bus and transit safety and home safety. Participants will have ample time on the Safety Town. Each participant will receive a bicycle helmet, t-shirt and certificate of completion. Registration deadline: August 1. This program is sponsored at no cost thanks to the Wightman-Wieber Community Foundation.
